Bow Arts Open Studios: celebrating the creative community in Royal Albert Wharf
To mark Earth Day, 40 studios in Pump House Square, Royal Albert Wharf, opened their doors to the public, inviting visitors to meet the artists, explore their work, and take part in hands-on creative activities.
From sustainable designer shoes to immersive landscape paintings and sculptural installations, the event showcased a diverse mix of artistic expression.
Guests engaged in Earth Day workshops, transforming plastic bags into tote bags and envisioning new green spaces for Royal Albert Wharf in a ‘Draw Your Dream Docks’ session.
Bow Arts’ inspiring project manager Mariana shared her craft, engaging the community in making clay bowls. These handmade pieces could then be taken home and used, turning the experience into a meaningful and lasting creation.
In partnership with Notting Hill Genesis, Bow Arts’ Open Studios aims to connect residents with the thriving artistic quarter on their doorstep. As Bow Arts marks its 30th anniversary this year, the charity continues its mission to build sustainable and vibrant creative communities through its placemaking strategy.
