New homes launching this summer at Silvertown
Guinness Homes has announced the launch of Argenta at Silvertown, a landmark residential development in the heart of the Royal Docks.
The first 66 homes, launching this summer, will offer high-quality accommodation through Shared Ownership, helping more Londoners find a home in the city. Across the masterplan, Guinness Homes, in partnership with Lendlease, will offer 430 apartments, including one, two, and three-bedroom options.
These first 66 homes are located near the Grade-II listed Silo D with views across Silvertown to the east, and towards North Greenwich to the west. Future phases will include a town centre featuring shops, restaurants, leisure facilities, bars, and cafes, creating a lively hub centred around the water.
Silvertown is one of the most distinctive and historic parts of the Royal Docks, and is on the cusp of revival as a new waterside location for London. The Silvertown regeneration project, led by Lendlease and Starwood Capital, will provide a significant number of offices and workspaces, with c 6,500 homes, a significant proportion being affordable. This 50-acre site around Pontoon Dock is home to the historic Millennium Mills, an iconic 20th century flour mill, and the distinctive Grade II-listed Silo D, both of which will be restored as part of the development.
Silvertown is exceptionally well-connected. The new Silvertown Tunnel, which opened in April 2025, links Silvertown to the Greenwich Peninsula and The O2 Arena, reducing congestion and enabling faster cross-river journeys. Additionally, the area is served by multiple bus routes, the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) from Pontoon Dock and the Elizabeth Line from Custom House, providing access to central London and beyond.
Shared Ownership homes offer an alternative route onto the property ladder. These new homes offer spacious layouts, high specifications, fully integrated appliances, and private balconies. Residents will enjoy a wide range of amenities nearby at Thames Barrier Park, Royal Wharf & Canning Town.
Applications are due to open this Summer 2025, with homes completed in Autumn 2025.
