See you at Beckton parkrun

With the closure of Royal Victoria parkrun, Beckton parkrun is now the next nearest parkrun within the Royal Docks. Join the fun at Beckton District Park South every Saturday at 9am. Whether you were a Royal Victoria regular or are a parkrun tourist you’ll find the same friendly spirit just down the road.

And if you’ve never done a parkrun before, now is the perfect time to start! It’s a free, fun, and friendly 5k community event where you can walk, jog, or run at your own pace. All you need to do is register for free in advance.

Volunteers are the heart of parkrun and without them, these free events simply couldn't happen. Volunteers are crucial for setting up the course, marshalling and scanning barcodes. No experience is needed as someone will show you exactly what to do on the day. You can even volunteer for roles before or after the run so you can still complete your 5k!

What you need to know

Beckton parkrun takes place every Saturday at 9am at Beckton District Park South. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early for the pre-run briefing. It’s also a good idea to check the Beckton parkrun Facebook page beforehand to confirm the event is going ahead, as it is occasionally cancelled due to poor weather or other circumstances.
