Atlantic Pacific Summer School
We are excited to announce that applications are now open for Summer School 2024!
As a dedicated group of humanitarians with extensive real world experience, our aim at Summer School is for you to leave us feeling confident in sea-based SAR.
We want to hear from you if you are:
- Someone interested in humanitarian work looking to learn essential skills to volunteer in Search & Rescue
- Someone who already volunteers and wants to upskill, with expert instructors
Our mission to combat global drowning means we prioritise applicants who intend to volunteer in future to use the skills we teach.
We carefully consider all applications but spaces are limited and this unique course is always over subscribed. Please apply soon!
For 9 days we focus on two areas:
First Aid training: you gain a Casualty Care Qualification, valid for 3 years
Sea-based Search & Rescue: you get hands-on learning in RHIBs on the Bristol Channel
