Brick Lane Music Hall's first ever Summer School for 8-13 year olds – apply here!

Building on our work with primary school children across the London Boroughs of Newham and Tower Hamlets, we are delighted to announce that this Summer will see the launch of our first ever Brick Lane Music Hall Summer School, designed for budding Musical Theatre superstars aged 8 – 13. The week long course will be designed to foster confidence, teamwork and personal growth, with students receiving professional training in singing, dancing, and acting.

Participants will collaborate with industry experts and West End performers, as well as technical staff, building up a breadth of skills. This will culminate in a once in a lifetime opportunity to perform live in our famous theatre in a Musical Variety show, featuring beloved songs from Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Oliver! and Annie which family and friends can attend.

• Course dates – Monday, July 22nd – Saturday, July 27th, 2024
• Times – Monday- Friday 10.30am – 4.30pm – Saturday 10.30am- 5pm
• Performances – 2pm and 4pm on Saturday, July 27th, 2024
• Location – Brick Lane Music Hall, 443 North Woolwich Road, London, E16 2DA
• Ages – 8-13 years old
• Cost – £225 per child (sibling discount: £210 per child)
• Places will be allocated on receipt of the completed application form, please follow the link below. Places are limited, so please hurry to avoid disappointment!
• Applications must be received by May 24^th 2024 at the latest to be considered for a place
• Payment will be due by June 18th for students to participate

There will be two performance opportunities for participants on Saturday 27th July, at 2pm and 4pm. These performances will be ticketed at £10 a ticket and open to friends and family to watch the final performances on stage at Brick Lane Music Hall. Children under 2 will not be charged. Tickets will be available to purchase from the Summer School staff during the week of the course, on a first come first served basis.
