Mythic Sauna: Nights of Sauna & Storytelling

A multi-sensory night of storytelling in the gorgeous dream-space of the traditional wood fired sauna. It’s a space to remember the power of your imagination and sink into an old tale, spun byexpert storyteller Oliver Wallace. The story weaves through four sauna sessions, using steam, scent and heat to open our imaginations and draw us into the tale’s mysteries.

In May, Oliver will share a beautiful puzzle box of a fairy-tale, full of energy for the threshold of summer. Expect to emerge feeling creatively empowered and full of the dreamy sensations of the story. We are tapping into the deeply human pleasure of gathering in the warm to hear the old tales.

We close with wild foraged tea, and a chance to mingle, refreshed and with imaginations brimming. There is a wonderful sense of community that forms on the evening.

SISTERHOOD SAUNA.

Women of London, you are invited to bring your wisdoms, woes & wishes to the sauna, steam & plunge! We are in this together!

Sisterhood Sauna is a space for genuine connection, solidarity in action, learning from one another while getting some much needed TLC!

It's a cosy, playful, heart-warming gathering to ignite genuine togetherness in sisterhood. We share stories, listen to one another, have a good laugh & take a deep sigh of relief for the visceral remembrance that happens when women of all generations, gather in circle.

Isabella (your sauna host) will offer indulgences in steam, leaf whisking, scents, scrubs & sound bowls; songs to sing & meditations to bathe in.

We will cheer one another into the cold plunge (but only if you want to!) and give our bodies a deep cleanse with at least 3 rounds of sauna sweat to help your body get rid of city toxins. Overall you are promised an evening of deep body-mind-soulful sanctuary & rejuvenation.

QUEER TALES FOR QUEER FOLKS.

Join Ariel Goodbody in the sauna for an evening of sweat, relaxation and co-created storytelling. Taking inspiration from our own lives, as well as the collective consciousness of fairy tales and myths, we will weave together uplifting, hilarious and heart breaking stories of queer traditional narratives and stoke the fires of revolution. Whether you'd like to sit back and bask in a warm story, or shake the branches of your creativity, you’ll be sure to have a great time.

The evening will consist of four 15-minute storytelling sessions in the sauna, guided by me with plenty of audience participation, broken up by dips in the plunge pool, and ending with an opportunity to drink tea, chat and reflect.
