Post Post-Industrial: Surveying the traces of the Beckton Gasworks

Post Post-Industrial: Surveying the traces of the Beckton Gasworks

Once the largest gasworks in the world, covering over 500 acres of land, Beckton played a major role in the development of London.

Through a hybrid archive of film, site casting and digital scanning, the subtle remaining traces in the landscape that was once dominated by industry are uncovered.

The exhibition runs Thursday-Sunday between the 21st and 30th June. Opening times are 12-6pm except for Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th which is by appointment only.
