Riverscape presents: Meet Me At the Pier
This summer, head to Royal Dock’s beautifully landscaped 1km riverside stretch between Lyle Park and Thames Barrier Park, just south of Royal Victoria Dock, and discover Meet Me At the Pier, a brand new exciting summer events programme for East London’s new vibrant community for family fun, free things to do, featuring live music and waterfront sundowners.
Riverscape Pop Up
Wednesday 18th August – Sunday 26th September
Discover Royal Dock's very own glorious sundowner spot at The Riverscape Pop Up, with stunning uninterrupted views across the Thames. The perfect spot to watch the sunset with Canary Wharf and the O2 as your backdrop. Open every day for six-weeks, and hosted in a riverside Airstream the pop up will be partnering with Aperol and many exciting smaller London businesses to serve spritz cocktails, speciality coffees, Brick Lane Bagels, independent small batch beer from Five Points Brewery, sustainable British wine and much more.
Whilst there enjoy our vibrant alfresco terrace; lie back in our bright Riverscape deckchairs, bask in the sunshine and enjoy live acoustic music on Thursday and Friday nights at 5pm, helpfully coinciding with happy hour, where all F&B will be 20% off (between 5pm – 6pm).
The Riverscape Pop Up will be open Monday-Sunday, 11am – 8:30pm.
Summer Fete
Saturday 25th September 11am - 6pm
With the balmy temperatures set to continue, head to our Summer Fete on Saturday 25th September, between 11am – 6pm. The Royal Wharf Park will come to life with feel-good summer festival vibes to celebrate the reunion of our riverside community this year. Located in the heart of the Royal Docks, close to Pontoon Dock station on the DLR or Uber Boat by Thames Clipper via the Royal Wharf Pier, our all-day fete will be a fun day out for all the family - with jumbo garden games, live acoustic music, face painters, a magician, balloon modellers and much more!
With a range of gastronomic food and beverage vendors you can pick up a mouth-watering bite to eat or colourful cocktail. The fete will also showcase the community’s amazing creative talent with an art corner and many onsite/local businesses will offer on-the-go treatments, whether that be a quick doggie groom or a manicure!
For those seeking a healthy start to the day, a HIIT workout will take place at 10am with the legendary local PT Michael Baah.
