Step Back in Time is a special Royal Docks Originals preview of Toasted Productions new augmented reality experience, coming soon to the Royal Docks. The new mobile and web platform uses AR to bring the history, community and innovation of the Royal Docks to life.

- Switch on your phone's GPS and mobile data.
- Click on this link. It will open a web page.
- When prompted, please allow Eighth Wall to use your location, camera and audio.
- Turn up the volume on your phone.
- Scan the Bollard with your phone and look up!

Users will be able to step back in time to explore the area's rich culinary heritage, glimpse the exciting changes ahead, and discover today's diverse food scene, all through an interactive, real-world learning experience.
Toasted's previous AR trails, including Echo Salford and Manchester Music Mooch, have effectively engaged communities and enriched local narratives. The new Royal Docks trail will build on this by showcasing the unique stories of the Royal Docks, allowing visitors to connect with its history and participate in its ongoing evolution.
