Three Ghosts of Silvertown Screening
Join the Tate Institute for a special premiere screening of Three Ghosts of Silvertown, captured live during Newham Plays' August 2026 run inside the building. Inspired by the resurrection of the Tate Institute by the ReSpace Project, this production follows three ghosts from turn-of-the-century Silvertown as their stories collide with East London today.
Set to a pulsating techno and house soundtrack, a cast of professional creatives and young rising voices fuse spoken word and movement to re-stage the famous Silvertown Strike led by Eleanor Marx, Karl Marx's daughter, with a fierce and defiant new ending.
Whether you were part of the original August performances or missed seeing it live, you will be able to experience the full recorded production together in the very space that inspired it.
