Ensemble Festival: Trance-fixed in Wonderland: Stranger Than Psy-Fi

Experience a kaleidoscope of emotion as an Afro humanoid lamp traverses the vast Wonderland of her own identity.

This high-energy, solo-choreographed performance art piece blends afrofusion, amapiano, psychedelic dance, and experimental movement with a darkly whimsical twist on Black awakening.

Diana Amma Gyankoma Abankwah (The Psyber Giantess) delves into cultural intersectionality, and explores a side to the Black Inner experience very rarely portrayed in popular culture: Psychedelia.

Pushing her artistic boundaries, Diana invites you to question the limits put on depictions of Black African performance, and imagine a world in which all emotions, experiences (and hallucinations) come out to be seen.
