Royal Docks Originals
Get Moving!
An afternoon of free family fun, performance, interactive exhibits and workshops
This fun family day celebrates the grand opening of the Royal Docks Corridor, from Canning Town to London City Airport - including Silvertown Way and North Woolwich Road.
Following two years of improvements, the road is now safer, greener, and better for walking and cycling. It features more green space, less pollution, and one of the UK’s largest rain gardens.
Taking place on 20 September as part of wider World Car Free Day celebrations, the event promotes active, sustainable travel.
Around Pontoon Dock DLR and Thames Barrier Park, enjoy live performances, interactive workshops, and exhibits for all ages.
Bring a picnic or grab lunch from With Milk café in Thames Barrier Park, then come along to join the fun!
